Aloha mai,
my name is L. P. Kupaelani Akeo, High School Counselor for
the Business and Leadership Academy, Counselor for the Students
in grade 10(A-K) and Community Service Coordinator.
The Student Support Services
Centers goals for our students are to provide positive preventative
services to assist our youth to become good and industrious
young men and women.
Counseling program services
include:
• Academic Advising
• Personal Counseling
• Career Exploration / Guidance
It is also our goal to work
with students, their parents, the teachers and faculty collectively
to build a solid foundation so our students may have a positive
and enjoyable high school experience, preparing them for their
post secondary plans and to help them to become leaders of
tomorrow and good citizens in their communities.
Who am I?
I was born and raised in Pearl City
on the Island of Oahu.
Graduated from The Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama Campus (1982).
BS Psychology – Brigham Young University, Provo Utah
(1988)
MS Counseling Psychology – Chaminade University of Honolulu
(1996)
Times Available:
I am available for students during the
regular school hours and by appointment before and after school.
Due to my full schedule, I strongly encourage parents to call
and schedule an appointment. However, I do understand that
stopping by the office occasionally may be necessary to accommodate
your needs.
