Henry
Kalani Wong joins the Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus as full time Chaplain,
after
serving part-time as Kahu for the past two years. Kahu Wong was previously
employed by the County of Maui for nine years, most recently as the
Leisure Services Director at Kaunoa Senior Services for three years.
Prior to that, Kahu Wong worked as Administrative Officer of the Parks
and Recreation Department and Program Specialist in charge of the PALS
program for the County of Maui. Kahu also shepherds the congregation
of ‘Iao Congregational Church in Wailuku, as Parish Associate.
We look forward to Kahu Wong’s leadership as he develops, coordinates,
and sustains the spiritual education program and environment of the
KSMC ‘ohana.
Kahu Wong is a
graduate of Kamehameha Schools, holds a Bachelor in Business Administration
from
the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and a Master’s of Divinity
from the Fuller Theological Seminary.
