Course Overview:

Throughout the course of the semester, we will examine the health care system through an exploration of careers and the basic skills required by multiple professions. Each student will be responsible for recruiting a health care professional to serve as a guest speaker and for providing the class with an overview of the profession prior to the speaker’s visit. Students will learn employability, safety, and foundation skills as well as basic human anatomy and physiology and pathology. Careers explored will be determined based on student interest.
