Middle School Technology Lab

E Nä Mäkua ë:

`Ano`ai!

It is my privilege to be your child’s Middle School Technology instructor this year. This will be my eighth
year with the Kamehameha Schools ‘ohana, and I bring with me 28 years of teaching experience in the area of business and technology education, enhanced with practical, hands-on experience in the hospitality and travel industries. I feel especially excited to be a part of the Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus technology vision towards a wireless school. My daily drive from Lahaina to upcountry Maui is like a drive up to heaven!

My goal is to provide your child with meaningful experiences instilled with positive values that will help him/her become an independent, lifelong learner who is respectful and caring of others. I firmly believe that every child has promise and can learn, and that indeed, "it takes a village to educate a child." With your support, I hope to have open communication between school and home. Please feel free to discuss your child’s progress or to share any concerns by calling me at
(808) 572-3156, a direct phone number to the Middle School Technology Lab. You may also communicate with me via e-mail: dagushik@ksbe.edu.

Mahalo nui loa, in advance, for your time and cooperation in the future. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child during school year 2008-2009!

Me ka `oia`i`o,

Mrs. Dale Gushiken-Nip
