Homework
Your child will bring home his/her folder daily (Monday - Thursday).
In it you will find homework and important papers. Please read what
is written for the day and sign the page after all assignments are
completed. If you have any questions or concerns, write them down.
Homework folders are checked every morning and a response will be given
as soon as possible.
Homework will be a review or extension of work covered in class. Reading,
spelling, math, and other subjects as needed will be assigned Monday
- Thursday. Optional reading may be done over the weekend. All assignments
are to be completed and returned the next day.
If,
for some reason, your child is not able to completed his/her assignments,
please send a note to explain why.
Spelling
This year, although the children will not be taking a formal spelling
test at the end of each week, they will continue to use the spelling
workbook to focus on different strategies and skills associated with
spelling.
Book
Orders
From time to time, book orders will be sent home. If you are ordering
a book for your child, enclose the order form and exact amount in
an envelope with your child's name on it. If you are writing a check,
please make it out to the book company. Be sure to return everything
to class by the due date.
