Aloha,

My name is Lance Cagasan and I’ll be teaching geography . I look forward to a fun filled school year. I have been teaching in both the public and private school system for 13 years . As I enter my 9th year here, I feel blessed with the privilege of teaching here at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus. I earned my B.A. in Sociology from the University of Hawaii @ Hilo, received a P.D. in Education from the University of Hawaii @ Manoa and completed my M.E.D.through the University of Chaminade. My hobbies include diving, fishing, golf course excavation, coaching basketball, and spending time with my wife Nalani and sons Cade Peyton.

Grade 6 is always a memorable year. For one, the students are exposed to the Middle School concept. Secondly, academic responsibilities increase. Not to worry though, eventually they acclimate themselves to the middle school and growth becomes imminent. They’ll discover a lot about themselves, their peers, and their abilities.
