Aloha Parents and Students,

My name is Mrs. Waynette Apolo, and I will be your child’s 6th grade English teacher this year. I am married to Mr. Joe Apolo Jr. and together we have a beautiful daughter named Kawai. This will be my 5th year teaching at Kamehameha School with a total of 11 years teaching experience. I earned my B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and then received my M.A. in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix, Maui Campus. Last year, I also graduated from the online instructor's training insitute. I strongly believe in being a life-long learner.

I completely enjoy working with 6th graders and look forward to another wonderful year!
