Ho'olaule'a, April 19, 2008 CHOW FUN	Next Food Training Class - March 15, 2:45 pm AND, 6:15 p.m., Namahana Dining Hall All Grade 9 parents are required to take this one hour class to serve before or during the Ho'olaule'a. Sign up for the class, kapatric@ksbe.edu or 572-3203.
Aloha Parents and students of class 2011, Here we are quickly approaching Hoolaule'a 2008. Our class has been assigned to the Chow Fun Booth but in order to work and handle any foods you must be food certified or recertified. Currently we have only 1 food certification class left scheduled before the April 19th Hoolaule'a. The date is scheduled for February 7th, 6:15 pm Namahana Dining Hall. There are only enough seats for 40 people so please sign up ASAP. Sign up can be made by contacting kapatric@ksbe.edu or me at dbknkk@hawaii.rr.com or call me at 357-3737. If your child is at least 14 years old they can also take the class and help volunteer their time. There also seems to be some confusion as to being certified. It is stated "for the 2007-08 school year, parents are qualified to work if they received training after January 1, 2007 and will NOT need to take a class until their student moves to another campus." So for those of us who have only the one child entering grade 9 you will need to be recertified. Any questions please call me. Just me, Barbara, 357-3737 PS.
