Katherine
"Lokelani" Patrick fills the Parent Community Coordinator
position. Lokelani has filled multiple roles at KSMC which gives her
a unique, well-rounded perspective to the program. Lokelani is a 1972
Kamehameha Schools graduate, was an active parent on the KSMC Parent
Teacher Student ‘Ohana, was employed for two years as a substitute
teacher on the Maui Campus, and is the parent of two current KS Maui
students. In the Parent Community Coordinator position, Lokelani will
be responsible to develop and strengthen relationships with parents
and collaborate with other Kamehameha ties on Maui.
Lokelani
holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and secondary teaching certificate
from Lewis and Clark College, and a Bachelor of Education and elementary
education certificate from the University of Hawai‘i
at Mänoa. Lokelani has had extensive voluntary service experience on
school and church boards. Lokelani and husband Mychael are parents
to three daughters.
